In light of the upcoming publication of the book Production, conservation and other forest functions – how to balance forest management across Europe, the Swiss Federal Office of Environment (BAFU), the German Ministry of Food and Agriculture (BMEL), the cantonal “Amt für Wald beider Basel, EFI and WSL are organising a conference to discuss these challenges. The book includes a large number of case study examples on integrative forest management approaches.
